Directions:
(Please note that every patient is different and the below is just a general guide)
- After your first radiotherapy session, apply a generous layer of Radiaderm R1 to the affected area. To cover an area of approximately 10 x 10cm (4 x 4 inches), use an amount of 6g, which is equivalent to a heaped teaspoon. It is essential to start using Radiaderm R1 from the first day of your treatment and continue applying it on all subsequent treatment days following radiotherapy sessions.
- The Gel should be left in place for a minimum of 20 minutes/ Do not rub into the skin. Any residue may be gently removed
- Move on to step two using R2 Soothing Lotion.
- R2 can be applied at any time between radiation sessions or whenever the skin may feel dry and tight.
- NB. It is very important that the skin is COMPLETELY CLEAN before a radiation session as to not have anything between the skin and the radiation beam.
- R1 and R2 is water soluble and can be washed off with just a little warm water.
- We do not recommend rubbing or scrubbing the skin to clean the area as the skin will be sensitive.
